Our Super Shake

It is often said that abs
are made in the kitchen 🙂 that’s our philosophy at least… Let me rephrase – we have no option but to believe that. Both Lloyd and I used to be avid gym goers, until our kiddies came along. Now we never know what a night may throw at us – teething, nightmares, restlessness, broken sleep… So yes, I could wake up at 3:30am to get some exercise in – but quite frankly, I need my sleep.
None the less, we try our best to eat as healthy as possible. I do quick, easy and healthy meals for dinner, and snack bites during the day. For breakfast, we start off with our shake – which sets the tone for the day. We use our nutri-bullet and it’s literally done in a couple of minutes. Also, drinking something makes breakfast on the go a whole lot easier whilst getting the kids ready for school.
Ingredients:
ice
